Young or old, recreational or elite, beginner or expert, injuries can play a part in the life of any runner. This can often be due to poor technique. Video analysis can help identify technique errors, weaknesses or activation issues. Technique sessions together with a range of bespoke exercises, can eradicate many of these injuries and get you running faster.
Injury, whether sporting or otherwise, will affect how you move, and inefficient movement makes you more susceptible to re-injury. Poor movement due to neurological conditions, such as strokes, can be helped by working on functional movement. Movement re-education to teach you how to move better can help with confidence and balance.

My perception of running has always been that’s it’s about putting one foot in front of the other and just running. You have opened up a whole plethora of areas that can impact running performance that I found truly enlightening. I am certainly going to embed what I learnt from you into my training moving forward. Thanks again for all your help, patience and hard work.

I’ve just finished a six-week training course with Rob and am astonished by the difference in my running technique. I’ve learnt such a lot over this period and have found a great difference in my running speeds and will continue to improve and remain injury free when using my new running style.

Just to let you know that I decided to not run the Bath Half, but run my own route away from people! Unfortunately, it was very wet and muddy, plus the tunnels in Bath messed up my watch / pace timing... but I completed it without any pain in my knee! So, this is a message to say thank you for all the work on my running technique.

As a complete beginner I am really impressed with the progress I have made in 6 short weeks. Just because you can walk, it doesn’t mean you can run! The before and after films are evidence enough and those shiny new running shoes will get far more use because you’ll see real results that encourage you to carry on. What more can I say? Thanks, Rob, for your help and support and if you’re reading this and wondering whether it’s worth it because you’re just starting out, it is. It’s that simple.”
